are responsible for the integration of Fuel Systems and Fire Protection Systems, sub-systems and equipment into aircraft, i.e. specification, qualification and certification of systems, sub-systems and equipment with respect to requirements, safety and reliability and according to the Airbus Defence and Space development process
derivate the requirements, definition of concept and system architecture
develop the system and equipment specifications
develop the qualification programme and support the certification
define, monitor and analyse the ground and flight tests
prepare the certification and clearance documentation
control the interfaces to other systems and functions
build line support with respect to system queries/issues/waivers
solve thermo- and fluid dynamical as well as mechanical engineering tasks and problems
perform system analyses with respect to performance, dynamic behaviour, operation, control, etc., using numerical simulation tools, handbook methods, etc.
are responsible for the in-service support for the respective systems and equipment
are responsible for the technical lead of defect or problem investigations (root cause analysis, development of problem solutions and modifications)
are responsible for the technical lead of modification processes
prepare the certification and clearance documentation
are responsible for the technical management of system or component manufacturers and/or suppliers
cooperate and coordinate with internal, external, national and international subcontractors, suppliers, customers and partner companies
are managing Airbus internal interfaces to related technical departments and functions (e.g. pro-gramme management, procurement, final assembly, maintenance, technical publications, technol-ogy management)
are responsible for the continuous monitoring of available technologies and identification of technology gap
You:
have a degree in Aerospace Engineering

have ideally knowledge of and experience in numerical system modelling and simulation tools (e.g. Star CCM+, Simcenter Amesim, Flowmaster, CATIA)
have German and English skills
have ideally experience in the area of (military) aerospace specific development, qualification and certification processes
